Declaration of Consent under Data Protection Legislation
Initiation of the application process:
We are in contact with the aim of successfully going through the application process with you and being able to offer you a position at BTC. We use a Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) tool to organise your contact with our recruiting team.
This means that if you have not yet decided on a suitable position, you will be able to receive regular updates from our recruiting team about positions that may be of interest to you. The CRM is technically provided by talentry, the company we have contracted, and our recruiting team is responsible for the content.
Since you have not yet started the applicant process, it is necessary from our point of view to obtain consent for contact maintenance. This is obtained through the talentry tool by double opt-in.
We take the permission to contact you from the established contact by mail and or other information channels. We assume that the contact address provided or published by you is in your possession and access.
If you have any questions about the CRM, please do not hesitate to contact our process managers.
Inclusion in the CRM is not mandatory in order to successfully complete the application process.
In applying, you transmit personal data within the meaning of data protection legislation to us. The legal bases for this are:
- Art. 88(1) of the GDPR
- Section 26 (1), (2) of the BDSG [Federal Data Protection Act]
- In particular: your express consent to the use of your application documents in our selection process
BTC will ensure the protection of your personal data and comply with data protection legislation, no matter where your data are accessed from.
Your data will be stored within the European Economic Area according to the provisions of the EU GDPR.

If you do not wish or are unable to give your consent, you are welcome to contact our process owner directly (see below). Please note that we will not be able to consider your application without your consent.
Purpose of the Collection and Processing of Your Personal Data
By applying, you demonstrate your interest in employment with a BTC Group (hereinafter BTC) company and make available your personal data for the purpose of recruitment beyond your specific application.
